Al Jazeera journalist Peter Greste will be honoured at the White House Correspondent Association Dinner.
The event on Saturday is an annual gathering of journalists covering the White House and the US president. It also brings together thousands of politicians, celebrities and their guests.

Greste, who was imprisoned in Cairo for 400 days, was released by Egytian authorities on February 1st.
Two of his colleagues, Mohamed Fahmy and Baher Mohamed have also been released but still face retrial.
